Thanksgiving weekend 11/30/2009
Satisfied with a full belly, Jack contently spaces out. It seems that the crib just doesn't do the trick. Jack likes to sleep on our bed with a pillow on each side of him. On Thanksgiving, Justin and I pretty much took turns eating or socializing while the other cared for Jack. I think he has a hard time with crowds and was just a bit fussy all night. Christmas Cards 11/25/2009
These are my top pick for Christmas cards this year...and YES, they have illustrations by my sister. Go here to purchase. $2 for a 4-pack $6 for a 12-pack Joy Mark The Gift Whisperer Little John Blessing Day 11/15/2009
Today was Jack's blessing day. We had most of Justin's family there and enjoyed chili and cornbread afterward. For those of you who noticed...yes, I colored my hair. And yes I dressed Jack to match his father...or rather, I told Justin, "You HAVE to wear that light blue tie of yours when you bless Jack." Jack cries 11/12/2009

Slovly 11/11/2009
I've always been impressed with my sister's talents. Sabrina sings, dances, has witty humor, great style, is a fabulous mother, is fun and she's an artist. She creates these unique watercolor characters and I love every single one. Her blog is Slovly.com and she also has an Etsy store where she sells originals and prints. Plus, she does commissions! You can send her a photo of your family or child(ren) or whoever and she'll turn them into watercolor. It's a great personalized Christmas gift idea everyone! To see more of her artwork, read the one-liner stories about each watercolor or to contact her for a commissioned piece, click here. A couple of weeks after I found out I was pregnant I received this watercolor below in the mail. It is called "Jack." Turns out she was right on with the hair and eye color. We'll see if I ever learn to knit those cute green accessories. Jack in the Mirror 11/08/2009
