Last Friday I went to see Twilight with girlfriends below. Kristen put it all together and even saved us $1.50 per ticket. I'm not sharing my opinion of the movie on my blog just in case any readers have not seen it and want to.  The main thing for me was that I had a fun night with girlfriends and I'll really miss them when I move. Kristen and I grabbed pizza beforehand...no one else could join us. But most of us went to her house afterward for brownies and ice cream. I enjoyed the chatting and comparing the movie to the book. Some of those women seemed to have great memories of little details about both the book and the movie...things I missed in the movie.

The girl on the very right in the below picture is Becca...she isn't in the group shot...she lives down the street from me.

Our Relief Society has a recipe exchange about once a month. The theme for this month was pies. I brought the Amazing Coconut Pie from a recipe that Judy gave me a while ago. I think people liked it. The pies were yummy and I got some great recipes out of it.

My friend Kristen (below) hosted it this time and had all her cute Thanksgiving decor out. Also, she took the pictures I've posted...I just stole them from her blog. If she didn't have a private blog I'd just send you there to see. She says a lot more on her blog too. Thank you Kristen.

We're moving 11/16/2008

Our place is a mess and will be for the next 3 weeks. We're packing up and moving to SLC. We sold our house faster than we had anticipated so we get to be there for Christmas. I'm really going to miss Austin...my home, the neighborhood, the mild winters, my little craft room, our "family" at church and most of all my dear girlfriends. Good thing some of them have blogs. Oh...did I not mention my job...I have a great job...but does anyone really miss jobs? Maybe...I don't think I ever have.

Here Justin is packing up his studio.

Morgan's Doll 11/16/2008

You may remember the headless doll from several weeks ago...here she is with a new head. I love the little orange owl button. If/when Alicia sees this she'll know this doll is for her daughter. Sorry to spoil the surprise.

My sister had her 4th baby this week, Hazel Jade. I made this blanket and doll to send to her.

Easy Peasy 11/14/2008

I have a handful of home decor blogs that I check out daily. One of them is www.poppytalk.blogspot.com. Every once in a while a free download will be available for the blog readers (and anyone else who stumbles upon it.) In August this poster was offered and it has taken me forever to find the right frame. Which I ended up getting on clearance at Ruby Tuesday and then painted it white. It looks like an eye chart but if you read the words...it says,  "Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy." I love it. You can find it here.

A couple people from work sent me some photos they took.
