Melted 10/30/2009
It snowed early this year. In 2001, when I lived in Utah after serving a mission, the first snow I saw was on Thanksgiving day...in the evening. I thought that was a little early...but what did I know being from Southern California. However, snow before Halloween just doesn't seem right. It has melted of course but I fear the cold is here to stay until Spring. Our backyard as it began to snow on Tuesday of this week. Turtle 10/22/2009
First Quilt 10/14/2009
I didn't realize what I was getting into when I started making this quilt. Even though it seems simple it was quite the project for me. The binding was the hardest and I couldn't do it on my own. I couldn't figure out how to miter the corners so I went to Judy for help. I have to say I'm very proud of us. This is for a sweet baby girl who is yet to be born. She should be here this month and the quilt will be sent to her mama tomorrow. EdiblesInc.com 10/09/2009
Have you ever received or ordered something from EdiblesInc.com? Oh my goodness. Justin's aunt Toni sent us this edible greeting card to congratulate us on our new baby. It comes wrapped in this cool box and arrives packed in ice. The butter cream frosting on the cookie is delicious. This does not mean that we don't appreciate other gifts and congratulations we've received. I'd just never heard of this and I thought I'd share. Remember this? 10/09/2009
Back in March I posted a picture of this bathroom when we got the tile floor in. It has been finished for months now but I love looking at it every day...and going through photos today reminded of what a state it was in when we bought the place. My dad really helped make it come together (with the help of a plumber, tile guys and my mom). Jack has the best Dad 10/01/2009
