Snow Shoeing 02/23/2009

One of my closest friends, Lizzy, took me snow shoeing on Saturday. It was a Christmas gift. Partly to help me enjoy snowy cold weather. She took care of the equipment all the way down to clothing and even snacks. I loved going and think it might be one of those things I'd like to do frequently during the winter months. The sky was blue and I think it may have even reached 50 degrees that day. Thanks Liz.

This week 02/14/2009

Kelly and Judy wanted to treat us to something special for Valentine's day...our choice. We decided to celebrate early and went out for sushi. Justin tried the spicy Dynamite roll at Yapona's...and liked it. It didn't even sound appealing to me. The jalapenos and cilantro kept me away. I loved the pot stickers though. Thanks Kelly & Judy.

On Friday I got to tend cute Morgan for an hour and a half. She LOVED looking at herself in the mirror. Especially when there were 3, 4, and 5 Morgans to see.

This morning, Valentine's day, Justin and I went to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. I was happier than I look.

On Thursday night, Alicia made the best homemade Cafe Rio salad and let us in on the yumminess. Thanks Alicia. Should have taken a picture.

Also, we got to spend an evening of catching up with our friends Katie and Spencer...Katie made a delicious chocolate cake. Again, I wish I took a picture.

And last night Justin and I went to Denny's to redeem our free Grand Slam coupons. While we were waiting to be seated we saw Kelly and Judy sitting in a booth just ahead of us. They had just barely ordered so we joined them. What a fun coincidence just like last Friday...maybe we'll run into them again next Friday. Should have taken a picture.

On the first Friday of each month downtown Provo has a "Gallery Stroll" where the galleries are open later. It was impressive and fun. We especially liked Ryan Brown's work at Coleman Studios.

As we were "strolling" we walked by this window and saw Kelly and Judy dining. Fun surprise. We sat with them for a bit and then went to see Matt.

My cousins 02/01/2009

Scott is the oldest of my younger cousins on my mom's side. He is married to Audrey and will be a father this month. Living closer to them means I got to go to their baby shower...they're having a girl and hopefully she'll get here sooner than later...we're all anxious to meet her.

Matt and Mallary...dating. Very cute couple.

Paige and Emily...I love these girls.
