The Vincent Family (part 2) 01/06/2012
They helped rake up all our leaves... On New Year's Eve we had home made pizza... and cheesecake cups. And the Vincents even watched our kids for an hour while we went to a party. 2 Comments The Vincent Family (part 1) 01/02/2012
My sister and her family came to visit for a few days after Christmas. It was really fun and I miss them already. The kids played together so well. We all took TRAX up to Salt Lake City to see the lights at Temple Square. First we hit up the Church History museum. There were some fun things for the kids. Poor Luke. Everyone was a little tired at the end of the night. The four girls. "Panda baby." Happy Holidays 12/23/2011

Making Pizza 11/23/2011
Things I have been making 11/21/2011
I followed this tutorial and made ornaments that represented each member of my sister's family. I stitched each name on the back with the year. The tutorial doesn't get into how to make a boy ornament...so I just did my own details of a rectangle body and no pink cheeks or heart-shaped mouth. It seemed to work. I also made this "JOY" banner to add to the Christmas package I sent to my sister last week. Plus I included this cd...which I love along with some Christmas candy and some other Christmas items. I think they liked it. I've been working on improving a pumpkin bread recipe. I'm still in love with my owl mask which was my Halloween costume. I have a little obsession with felt these days. I saw some really cool light switch plate covers at the SLC Downtown Farmer's Market and thought, "I can do that." The panda is for Jack. He likes it and I think it turned out just fine. Stuff 11/08/2011
I love how Jack looks in his pajamas. I discovered that grocery shopping in the morning is best. Jack liked "driving" the car for the first time. Good Morning! On my right at the mall... ...and on my left at the mall. Jack's new stool so he can wash his hands (he smiles like that because his Daddy is in the room). Lia and BFF Ruby (8 days apart) This little love is so sweet. She likes to sleep in my bed... Visit from Nana Vicki 11/08/2011
Halloween Day 11/03/2011
Jack started the day off right with a Halloween sugar cookie on a stick from Nana Vicki. The kids and I went to Justin's work for a chili cook-off and trick-or-treating at the desks. My flash is broken on my camera so all the inside pictures are blurry. Jack loved this over-sized Monopoly car at Justin's work. Grandma Judy (Lady Lavender) with Lia at the Duncan Halloween party. Jack caught on to trick-or-treating so quickly. He was sick with a cold but was such a trooper and seemed to have a great day. Halloween Music Class 11/03/2011
Jack and I go to a Mommy and Me Music class once a month. A week before Halloween we sang a bunch of Halloween songs, danced, wore costumes, made shapes with play dough, ate treats and played outside. It was a fun day. Lia with her aunt Tristin Jack and his cousin, Ian (Shrek) Jack chasing after the kids... Jack observing the kids... Jack running away from the kids... |
